Working Principle

The impact crusher operates based on the principle of impact crushing, using the impact energy to break down the materials. During operation, under the drive of the electric motor, the rotor rotates at high speed. When the materials enter the area where the plate hammers are located, they collide with the plate hammers on the rotor and are broken down. Then, they are thrown onto the counter-impact liner for further crushing, and then rebound from the counter-impact liner back to the area where the plate hammers are located for re-crushing. This process repeats itself, with the materials gradually decreasing in size as they enter the first, second, and third counter-impact chambers for repeated crushing, until the materials are crushed to the desired particle size and are discharged through the discharge port. Adjusting the gap between the counter-frame and the rotor can achieve the purpose of changing the particle size and shape of the material discharged. Some models of the rotor are designed to work in both forward and reverse directions. When one side of the plate hammers is worn out, the rotor can be reversed to use the other working surface, thereby significantly improving the utilization rate of the hammer heads. To protect the equipment from damage caused by non-crushing objects, a spring safety device is installed behind the counter-impact plate of the impact crusher. When a non-crushing object enters the crushing chamber, the counter-impact plate automatically retreats to increase the gap and expel the foreign object, and then automatically resets.
