What are the core devices?
The jaw crusher is the first stage, responsible for crushing large boulders into medium-sized particles. It has a large feed opening and a high crushing ratio, making it particularly suitable for processing materials of various hardness levels.
The cone crusher or impact crusher is responsible for medium and fine crushing. For hard boulders, a cone crusher is recommended, as it utilizes the layered crushing principle and has more durable wear parts.
The impact sand-making machine is the core sand-making equipment. It adopts the “stone against stone” or “stone against iron” principle, capable of processing stones into uniformly shaped machine-made sand. Common models include VSI, HVI, etc.
The vibrating screen is used for material classification, separating different-sized finished products. Those that do not meet the requirements will be returned for re-crushing.
The sand washing machine is responsible for cleaning the finished sand, removing mud powder and impurities. The wheel-type sand washing machine is more commonly used.
How to combine things to be more cost-effective?
Small-scale production line has a production capacity of 10-100 tons per hour, and its configuration can be simplified to a “jaw crusher + sand making machine + sand washing machine” two-stage short process. The initial investment cost is low, and it is suitable for small-scale production.
Medium-scale production line has a production capacity of 100-300 tons per hour, and the commonly used process is “jaw crusher + cone crusher + sand making machine + sand washing machine”, with a wide variety of finished product specifications and higher comprehensive benefits.
Large-scale production line has a production capacity of over 300-500 tons per hour, and it requires a more complete crushing and screening process. It can be equipped with single-cylinder and multi-cylinder cone crushers in combination, with a large output but also a high investment.
Mobile crushing station integrates feeding, crushing, and screening. It has strong mobility and can adapt to complex terrain, but the price is relatively higher.
